According to Sony Deputy Manager for 3D-direction, the company is going to convert some popular black-and-white films into 3D format.

Films conversion will start on the 1st April. The company has already prepared all necessary technical bases. The main company’s recourses for films conversion into 3D format are located in India

Sony representatives didn’t specify which particular films would be converted into 3D format. There is no doubt that it will be famous and favourite movies as the company in this way endeavours to stimulate potential buyers to purchase Sony products for reviewing video in 3D format.

Earlier Sony has declared about its plans to produce several new models of LC TV-sets and Blu-ray players supporting 3D in summer 2010. Therefore users will also simultaneously get content for reviewing at these devices.
